The world is full of wonderous color. When teaching my kids about color I, of course, read them adorable children’s books about primary colors and mixing colors. However, my and quickly my kids’ favorite books about color were books with brilliant photographs full of bright colors, such as the Oceans of the World and many books about the Amazon. We still poor over our favorite photography books as well as visit art museums and experiment with paint and other art mediums to play with color. Hands on learning is the best way to enjoy and really soak in lessons about the world around us. Whether you are looking for homeschool curriculum, art lessons for kids, or preschool books on color, there is something for you here. For older kids, the book ‘Color A Natural History of the Palette’ is fascinating and enjoyable!
