And you want your festive dessert to taste delicious, too, of course. I made these adorable homemade mini pumpkin pies last year for a school party and they were a hit! Such a delicious dessert idea and they look like a professional holiday dessert.
Don’t run away just yet, they’re actually super easy to make! Really! Just two simple ingredients for these muffin tin pies.
Easy Mini Pumpkin Pie Recipe
- store bought dough (2 packages of 9″ pre-made pie crust dough)
- canned pie filling (enough for 1 9″ pie)
12 cup muffin tin
Preheat oven to 425.
Cut dough into about 4″ circles and push into muffin tin. Pour pumpkin pie filling to fill the cups to the top, leaving just a bit of crust sticking up around the edges. Bake at 425 F for 15 min, turn down to 350 F for 25-30 min.
Wallah! Top with whipped cream if you wish and enjoy!
