Life of Fred Dolls Discount and Giveaway

December 5, 2015 by L. E. Mastilock 7 Comments

Whether you’re looking for a math curriculum, supplemental math activities, or just an enjoyable bedtime read, Life of Fred is fantastic! Written by Dr. Stanley Schmidt, a retired math teacher who loves math and couldn’t understand why math wasn’t fun for everyone! He wrote these funny, imaginative books, which bring real life math concepts to life within each story. The chapters are short and have a “You Play” section at the end to try out the math covered in that chapter.

There are Life of Fred books for reading and science, including early readers. Life of Fred is for preschoolers all the way up through high school.

Homeschool kids and children everywhere have fallen in love with Fred and his pal Kingie. They are in for some great news!

Now there are Fred and Kingie dolls!

Food always makes math more fun! We use cereal, candy, raisins, and nuts for manipulatives. Love Fred! The dolls are great. 🙂

These dolls are adorable, and my boys would love them. We are using Life of Fred for both elementary and high school this year. This unique curriculum has sparked an interest in math in my kids, and the fun format makes them enjoy doing math lessons.

I haven’t heard of these yet, but they sound great in fostering a love for math. Math is scary for many kids, and these books seem like they make it fun and exciting!
