The Perfect moments are those unplanned, quiet ones (not many quiet moments with two small kids, let me tell you!), where I can really stop and be in the moment.
Where I truly enjoy the time I’m spending with my child or children. Enjoy them for who they are, their unique personality, and can just spend that time, that small window of time, not worrying about the dishes in the sink, the dirty floors, or where we need to be in half an hour. But just live in that moment and take it all in so it’s forever engrained in memory (or take a quick pic, so I don’t have to rely on memory alone!).
Napping doesn’t happen often here anymore, though it’s still very much needed for Boo, who’s almost three years old. This day she was so tired, she just passed out on the couch! A very rare moment indeed! Monkey and I seized the opportunity to play an uninterrupted board game.
