10 Things That Make Me Really Happy {Blog a Day in May Challenge- Day 14}

May 14, 2013 by L. E. Mastilock 4 Comments

Blog Every Day in May Challenge- Day 14

I missed a few. I was out of town and though I had intended to write them ahead of time, I wasn’t thrilled with the prompts, so procrastinated until I was out of time altogether.

Day 11: Sell yourself in 10 words or less- You can thank me for not subjecting you to that.
Day 12: Something you miss- well it was Mother’s Day and I was really missing my mother-in-law. I am still having a hard time and don’t want to talk about it, so moving on.
Day 13: Issue a public apology- I’m sorry for not posting in time. I know you’ve missed me tremendously!!
Okay, now that we’re all caught up, on to today- Day 14

10 Things that make me really happy:

Sandy Toes Creations- 10 Things That Make Me Really Happy
Yep, happiness again! Good because I’m really needing to think on something positive today.
 1.  Giggles from happy kids
 2.  Hugs, especially from my kids and husband
 3.  Warm sunshine on my face
 4.  Anytime my kids are loving toward and/or helping each other
 5.  Smell of familiar comfort food
 6.  Eating that comfort food
 7.  Walking through the woods
 8.  A book I can’t put down
 9.  Being able to read the last few chapters of said book, without interruption!
10. Watching kids eyes light up when they love what they are learning or have figured something out themselves
What’s the number one thing that makes you happy?

I love love love your list item, seeing your children light up when they learn something on their own. That is so great!

A book I couldn't put down would make me very happy as well. I wish I could find time to pick up a book for myself. Sheesh!

And thank you for taking the time to come by and comment! I currently have to avoid good books so I won't get sucked into them and get nothing else done! 😉

Giggles and hugs – you're so right – they are very special and can brighten up an otherwise crappy day in an instant.
