Book benefits Santa Cruz County Animal Shelter this Month Only

Rescued book benefits animal shelters this month | Animal Charities | causes
A book helping animals across the nation

I’m still so excited that a story of mine was published in a book!

My story ‘Twice Disrupted’ was published in the anthology: Rescued: The Stories of 12 Cats Through Their Eyes and quickly became an Amazon best seller.

It won for best new anthology/compilation at both the 2015 San Francisco Book Festival and the Holiday Book Festival 2015. It also won a silver award for best ebook cover and another silver award for best Animal/Pets Non-Fiction in the Global ebook awards!

Silver-Global-ebook-award
This month only, January 2016, proceeds go the animal charity of my choice!

I have chosen to benefit the Santa Cruz County Animal Shelter as it is where I have adopted many pets throughout my life. The people there are compassionate and work so hard to care for and find homes for the unwanted. They are all angels, saving lives!

Winter months are the best for curling up with your cat on your lap and a good book in hand. Rescued also makes a wonderful gift for all the animal lovers in your life. The stories are heart warming and a beautiful reminder that there is still human compassion in the world.

My story is written from my cat, Rascal’s, perspective. It tells about life for him and his brother Rocco before they came to be part of my family and how they arrived here in our hearts.
