What kid does not like dragons? They are awe inspiring, mysterious, powerful and stretch the imagination. My kids have always loved learning about dragons, playing dragons, watching movies about dragons… you name it. Especially my son. He made his own book of dragons after watching the How to Train Your Dragon movie and TV shows. He also began a desire to learn to read through playing the video game based on that movie, prior to which he had little interest in learning to read.
I have always been fascinated by dragons as well and there are ever more books to extend the thrill of dragons. Below our a few of our favorites.

Ooh these look like some good ones! I wrote a post about dragon books this past summer (You can check it out here if you’d like: http://www.ourunschoolingjourney.com/2016/06/our-favorite-books-about-dragons.html). But I just found a few more to add to our list. Thank you!
