Animals are always a favorite topic in our homeschool learning. Preschool, Kindergarten, or early elementary homeschooling is the perfect time for unit studies. I let the kids loose in the library and we find all sorts of books about animals. We usually choose one animal they are especially interested in and then try to find many different kinds of books to study and enjoy.
In your winter unit or Arctic Animal unit for homeschool science, you’ll want some great books about penguins that provide plenty of penguins pictures and penguin facts. Be sure to pick up some of these story books, too, to add to the fun! Enjoy learning about penguins or just some fun bedtime reading for your penguin loving kids.
