Learn about community helpers. It’s so fun for kids to learn about people in our communities that are public servants and community helpers with these fun books! You can find plenty more in the “Meet My Neighbor” series, “Neighborhood Helpers”, or the “Community Helper” series if you really like a certain book, just look up another type of helper on Amazon in that series and you’ll find a book for each of the more common community helper jobs such as police, mail carriers, librarians, teachers, doctors, dentists, veterinarians, fire fighters and more. Take some field trips to meet your nearest community helpers and enjoy learning about the people in your community with your children.
