All I want for Christmas is time with my family.
And by family, I don’t mean just those related to me.
It seems that families are more diverse that ever. With blended families, adopted families, and tons more ways to make up a family, there is no recipe for a perfect one. The familiar image of one dad, one mom, two kids, and a dog is obsolete. Families are people who love each other and care for each other no matter what. Whether we’re related by blood or not, I want more family time with the people that mean the most to me. Can you gift wrap that, please?
This holiday season I am celebrating the family that I have.
Some people that I consider part of my family are good friends that have been there for me through thick and thin, co-workers I see daily that offer constant support and encouragement, and of course my biological family.
Love is what makes a family.
This time of year is all about family time. We love our family Christmas traditions, such as choosing the perfect Christmas tree together, decorating, and baking. The colder weather and early night fall bring us all in sooner, so there is more time for family game nights, crafts, or cuddling up to watch a movie. It’s easy to take your family for granted, but I hope you will take some time this busy holiday season to really appreciate all the loved ones in your life, notice what you love so much about each person, and maybe even show them you appreciate them. Make them feel special in some small way outside of the traditional gift wrapped package.
I have received information from the makers of TYLENOL®. The opinions stated are my own. This is a sponsored post.
To celebrate all families, the TYLENOL® brand created the #HowWeFamily program which believes that family is not about who you love but how.

The Tylenol #HowWeFamily Video is a heartwarming look at what makes family, not a house full of things, but the people in your lives that matter. It’s definitely worth watching to remember what this season is really about.
So, before you stress over that shopping list, give this a watch and I encourage you to treasure experiences over material things this Christmas. Give some thought to how you can spend more quality time together, take more adventures with your kids, visit relatives and old friends. It may be cliche, but you never know how long you’ll have to be with any one of them.
The #HowWeFamily program showcases the story of 11 real American families, including one from spokesperson Gabrielle Union, which can be seen at www.HowWeFamily.com. TYLENOL® is continuing to celebrate all families this holiday season and how they come together during this special time of the year. The video is a compilation of real moments from real families that showcases joy, laughter, surprise, and unconditional love.

I Iove that you include friends when defining family. I have some dear friends that mean just as much to me as family…especially this time of year.
