Learning About France Childrens Books

by L. E. Mastilock Leave a Comment

I would love to teach my kids about other cultures and countries by traveling the world, but, as it is not something I can do right now, we can still learn about them through books and other ways. Learning about different cultures and languages, how we are similar and how we differ, is a fantastic way to learn respect for all types of people and appreciate others. There are plenty of books to read, but it can be overwhelming to know where to start when you’re adding to homeschool curriculum or supplementing history, geography, and social studies. Here are some kids books suggestions to get you started in your homeschooling France unit. My favorite way to learn about any country is through food! Enjoy some French recipes that are favorites for local French kids while you study!

I miss the days when the kids would freely play ou I miss the days when the kids would freely play outdoors. Rocks & streams, sticks & flowers, their toys of choice. They're older now and drawn and to technology. They still have a love of nature, but it takes a push to get them to go outside and their play is different now. How do you get your big kids or #teens outdoors?
