Welcome to Monday Matters! Spread awareness to help important causes and start your week off right by making a difference each Monday, even if that is just to pin, tweet, or share to pass this information on.

Families desperately need food, water, shelter and other basic supplies following one the worst natural disasters in our recorded history!
Typhoon Haiyan killed thousands and displaced more. It demolished towns, left wind and water damage, and devastation in it’s wake.

What can I do about it?

There are many organizations that need your help to provide for the survivors in need and help them rebuild.

“[SF Gives Back] are encouraging monetary support directly to reputable agencies at this time as this is the fastest and most efficient way to get goods and services to the people that need it the most.”

SFgivesback.org lists some great charities that are helping in the Philippines to choose from. I find it hard to make a choice with so many great options, but don’t let that deter you.

I recommend Feed the Hungry Inc. because the most pressing issue is starvation and you can easily donate any amount online. No amount is too big or too small, every penny helps!

Please share.
