Growing up by the sea, the ocean and the beach hold special meaning for me. Memories of long summer days playing in the sand and water, watching tide pools and jumping waves. I love to feel the warm sand on my feet, obviously! One of my favorite subjects is learning about the beach. It’s always been my kids’ favorite homeschool subject as well. We’ve read tons of books about the ocean and shore, done science experiments about waves and tides, explored tide pools together and made many a sandcastle. There is always something more to learn. So, curl up and enjoy a good read about the beach with these great books for kids.
