Growing up by the ocean, the seaside holds special meaning for me. Memories of long afternoons playing in the sand and water, watching tide pools and jumping waves. I love to feel the warm sand on my feet. One of my favorite subjects is learning about the beach. It’s always been my kids’ favorite homeschool subject as well. We’ve read tons of books about the ocean and books about the seashore, done ocean science experiments about waves and tides, explored tide pools together and made many a sandcastle. There is always something more to learn. Enjoy these great kids books to learn about the beach.
