Traveling to different countries and learning about different cultures and languages is the best way to learn to respect all types of people and appreciate each other. Of course we can’t travel everywhere we want to, so reading and learning about cultures is the next best thing. Here are some kids books suggestions to add to your homeschool curriculum or homeschooling Mexico unit. Learning about far away places can be a great lesson in history and geography as well. My favorite way to learn about Mexico is through food! When we were learning about other parts of the world and world cultures, we would pick a few recipes favorite in that part of the world.
