February 2026 Mission Trip Update.
My high schooler is heading the Philippines in 10 days for her second mission trip.

A look at what we did when our family went last year: Mission Philippines 2025
Team 1 is in the Philippines!
On January 26th, Team 1 departed on their long flights to the Philippines. They made it safely, though some luggage was missing and they had to share and scramble to meet everyone’s needs. Please pray their bags are returned to them.
Prayer Needs
Aside from luggage arriving, here is a list of things to pray for:
- Health, strength & energy of everyone on the team
- Travel Safety
- Good weather so they can host the outdoor evangelism concerts
- Doors opened so they are welcomed to share in schools, prisons, government offices, markets, town centers…
- Hearts prepared by God to receive Him in each town before their arrival
- Signs and Wonders – healings & other miracles to prove God’s power and destroy all doubt
- Spiritual Protection – there are places they’ll be in that have very real spiritual enemies working against them
Team 2 leaves in just 10 days!
They gathered together after church this morning to select their airline seats. A final step after the past few weeks of filling in paperwork, finding passports, gathering letters & forms needed for the minors traveling in the group…., not to mention months of training. They now feel ready to get on their way!
The teams have been meeting to learn evangelism skills, spend time in the Word, prepping physically and mentally and praying together for the past 5 months. Each Thursday throughout January they added weekly fasting. Team 2 along with friends, family, and anyone in support of this mission, will continue to pray and fast once a week, and then the 2 days leading up to and through Feb 10th, the day Team 2 leaves. The Deadline is Here!
My daughter has been working hard to get ahead in her high school and college courses (she’s dual enrolled) so she won’t be behind when she returns from the mission. And at every opportunity, working to raise funds to go. She just gave up her last available Saturday volunteering to serve at a luncheon for our local Senior Center and was gifted tips from her assigned tables. She tucked that little bit away toward her trip with every dollar she has earned.
As we jumped into this new year of 2026 with the departure date speeding toward her, she recently asked friends and family for donations, if they felt led, to support her in this mission. We are blown away by all the support pouring in from our church family especially! As of today, February 1st, she only needs $200.
UPDATE: Feb 3rd, she now only needs $100 to be fully funded!
