‘Rescued’ book released today
I’m a published author!
I actually saw my name, L. E. Mastilock, listed as an author on Amazon! I’m an author!
I want to scream it from the rooftop and jump up and down for joy all day!
I have yet to receive my physical copy, can hardly wait to hold that in my hand, but I have a digital copy and it’s truly an enjoyable read!
Read the great reviews here.
Twice Disrupted is the short story, included in the book, of how my cats‘ came into my family and the saga of their lives before. All told in the new anthology:
Rescued: The Stories of 12 Cats, Through Their Eyes
Like the Facebook page for Rescued,
but more importantly, our Pubslush campaign needs you!
True, the book was released for sale today and available for purchase on Amazon, but each author has a different month to promote where our proceeds will go to an animal charity of our choice. My month is January 2016. So, if you’re wanting to benefit Santa Cruz County Animal Shelter, wait until then or better yet, purchase a copy now and another for a friend next year!
Please share our Pubslush crowdfunding campaign. Fitcat is a small publishing company and the more funds raised to cover the initial publishing costs, the more the authors and especially the animal charities will benefit!
Congratulations for being published! How exciting! All of our pets have either been strays or adopted from rescue groups. We have a zoo at our house!
This looks like such a sweet book, My Tukker was a rescued Mini Schnauzer and has become the love of our lives. There is something about a rescued animal that just lives in them; they understand how lucky they are and work twice as hard at pleasing us. I've never owned a cat, due to allergies, but think they are the most beautiful, majestic looking animals.
