Prepping for the Philippines mission trip:

Travel Dates
Team 1 of the group traveling for this mission, leaves Jan 26. A few more, Team 1.5, leave shortly after that. Team 2, the team my daughter will be with, is leaving Feb 10 and returning Feb 22nd, 2026.
There is power in the biblical practice of prayer and fasting
Each Thursday until Team 2 leaves, we will be fasting and praying. If you feel led to join us and fast and pray for the safety & health of the teams during travel and while in the Philippines, for the preparation the ground team in the Philippines is already doing to secure lodging, event space, approval to go into schools, etc, as well as the mission itself- for hearts to be prepared to receive The Word in advance, for doors to be opened, for clear weather and no obstruction to their mission… please do join in.
Prayer is Powerful
Matthew 18:19-20 (NIV) “Again, truly I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything you ask for, it will be done for you by my Father in heaven. For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them”
Fasting is Powerful
Mark 9: 1-29 tells of a time when Jesus’ disciples failed at casting out a demon. They asked Jesus why they could not do it when they had power to heal so many other times –
Mark 9:28-29 “And when He had come into the house, His disciples asked Him privately, “Why could we not cast it out?” So He said to them, “This kind can come out by nothing but prayer and fasting.”
