It’s August and that means the Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey are here in the Bay Area!
I don’t know who’s more excited, me or my kids. I’d have to say me because they have never been to a circus and I at least have some idea of what to expect. I’ve literally been bouncing up and down like a child, so eager to get to this amazing show! And it’s almost here!

I Love Clowns!
So long as they are not ghoulish looking I don’t think they are scary at all. They always make me laugh! Besides elephants and acrobats, I find myself looking forward to watching the clowns perform their hilarious stunts and silly antics.

- The dressing area for the clowns is called Clown Alley
- There are different types of clowns. Traditionally; Whiteface, Auguste, and Character.
- The average pair of clown shoes is size 24EEEEE
- The American symbol of Uncle Same started with the famous clown Dan Rice and he red, white, and blue costume.
